The Product
SafeGuard Sign&Crypt Signature Verifier is a free application for verifying digital signatures of documents signed with SafeGuard Sign&Crypt 2.x or SafeGuard Sign&Crypt for Office 3.0 or signed according to the S/MIME protocol. Like most Utimaco Safeware products, Signature Verifier is based on public key cryptography to guarantee state-of-the-art security.
The Signature Verifier complements SafeGuard Sign&Crypt for Office 3.0. It allows recipients of documents signed with SafeGuard Sign&Crypt to verify the signatures, even if they do not use SafeGuard Sign&Crypt. Moreover, it supports Utimaco Safeware's What You See Is What You Sign (WYSIWYS) concept.
The main window of the Signature Verifier gives an overview of the document and the signature(s) attached to it.
In order to enhance its efficiency, the Signature Verifier also offers extensive Certificate Management functionalities.
