EDI Accelerator
for Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004:
The Product
The EDI
Accelerator has been implemented as a fully integrated Adapter
within the BizTalk Server 2004 architecture. The EDI Adapter
surfaces as a Transport on both Send Ports and Receive Locations.
This integrated approach means that configuration
and management is mainly done from within one toolset. The design
time tasks are done from within the Visual Studio.Net hosted
applications like the Schema Editor and the Mapper. All mappings for
either XML or EDI are done with the BizTalk Mapper. The run time
management is done using the standard BizTalk Server tools like
BizTalk Administration Console and Health and Activity Tracking.
